San Valentino alla Muta is a winter sports destination with tradition. In 1905, one of the first ski clubs in the Alps was founded here. Our guests appreciate the proximity of our b&b to the cable car of the Belpiano ski area. For those who prefer to take it easy, a shuttle bus will take you directly to the valley station.
The new Two Country Skiarena includes the ski areas of San Benedetto, Solda, Watles, Trafoi and Belpiano, offering a unique ski safari experience.

If you like to spend your holidays on two wheels, the natural treasures of the Venosta Valley, one of the most extraordinary cycling regions in the Alps, are a real MUST. Racing bikers, mountain bikers, enduro bikers and even freeriders will encounter breathtaking routes and cycle paths! From wonderful alpine routes through the charming valleys of the area, to the serpentine mountain passes - the Venosta Valley offers various possibilities for all cycling abilities. The single trails of the Upper Venosta Valley and the cycle paths of the nearby ski resorts will make every cyclist's heart beat faster.
The Giro d'Italia is a valued guest in the area for many years now. The presence in one or more tours lends prestige to the area and brings the Venosta Valley to the attention of television viewers. Imagine trying out part of the route yourself and conquering the Stelvio Pass…Fantastic, isn't it?

Many peaks are also accessible for hikers without professional experience. However, particular attention and precautions must be taken.

Where wind and water meet, kite surfers feel at home. In recent years, Lake Resia became a real kiting hotspot. The constant wind and the multifaceted possibilities, make the Upper Venosta Valley a particularly attractive destination for kite junkies.
Lake San Valentino alla Muta is just 5 minutes from our accommodation and offers optimal conditions for snow kiting, mostly from December to March.
The local kite school accompanies you from your first attempts and helps experienced professionals to reach their next goals.

The Upper Venosta Valley with its snow-covered landscapes is particularly popular among ski touring passionates. For more challenging routes, we recommend you the professional support of our trusted mountain guide Josef. The Val di Roia, Vallelunga and Val di Mazia offer both easy tours with optimal snow conditions and adventurous routes up to 3,000 m high peaks.
The valleys can be reached within a few minutes' drive from our b&b.

The Venosta Valley meets every athletic expectation! At an altitude of 1474 m, San Valentino alla Muta is an excellent starting point for various bike training routes. Have you ever tried cycling across the curvy Passo Stelvio at 2750 m? It is a MUST for every cycling enthusiast. Enjoy the wonderful panorama and the suggestive alpine pastures, which provide the ideal environment to spend some pleasant moments in the mountains together with your racing bike. And after an adventurous bike tour, why not refresh yourself in the Lake San Valentino alla Muta? It also offers the right temperature for your swimming training - the perfect conditions for every triathlete!
You can easily deposit your bikes, wetsuits, running shoes and other sports equipment in our spacious garage. And to ensure that your sports clothing and equipment is always dry, we installed a boot warmer in the basement. While waiting for your equipment to be ready, you can relax in our whirlpool! What more could you ask for?
