Venosta Valley

The Venosta Valley is renowned as one of the most fascinating valleys in South Tyrol. The small, traditional villages of Burgusio, Clusio, Laudes, Cengles and the side valleys, Val Senales, Val Martello, Mazia, Slingia, Campo Tures and Solda, feature a variety of natural landscapes, while remaining true to their traditions and origins.

Passo Resia

Passo Resia is the most north-western part of South Tyrol and a real gem for active outdoor enthusiasts. It winds its way up to an altitude of 1,400 m with an impressive panorama over the legendary Val di Zerzer, Val di Roia and Vallelunga. The steeple that soars out of the waters of Lake Resia, close to the Passo Resia, is the symbol of the Venosta Valley.

South Tyrol

South Tyrol combines Mediterranean flair with Alpine culture. The cities of Merano, Bolzano, Brunico, Bressanone and Vipiteno reveal their slightly fashionable character. For centuries, South Tyrol has been travelled along the north-south route, coming into contact with many different cultures. Did you know that some South Tyroleans claim that the best of all cultures came together in the Venosta Valley, creating its special magic?
